Online Social Medias and Human Capital Recruiting
The objective of this paper is to explore what online social networking is, along with the employers recruiting from them. There are four sites of social networking that describe how they inform the employer in using their sites to recruit talent. The new trend to recruit through online social networks is demonstrated with particular studies to show how successful it had been for firms. The recruitment on these social networking sites is in the infancy stages and no known case studies have come to light, but companies may have to reword their policies and procedures to accommodate particular behaviors from the employees. It is the trend for now and only time will give the answer of what positive and negative outcomes will arise from this type of recruitment.
