Zappos Talent Management Leader to Present at Recruiting Trends Conference

Christa Foley to Discuss Employer Branding at October Event

Peterborough, NH – July 11, 2012 – Recruiting Trends, a leading resource for the employee recruitment industry, has announced that Zappos talent management leaders Christa Foley will present at the Recruiting Trends Conference, which takes place Oct.14-17 in Las Vegas.

The Oct. 16 session, “Hiring for Culture, the Candidate Experience, and Your Brand,” will show how branding at each step of the hiring process works and provide insight into one of the world’s most recognizable and respected brands, online retailer Zappos.

Christa Foley joined Zappos in 2004 and is currently senior human resources manager. She leads the recruiting, employee relations, and HR admin teams within HR. In this role, she and her teams scour the planet for people who are “fun and a little weird” and work to provide employees with a culture where they come first. Since culture is the No. 1 priority at Zappos, the main focus of HR is to help protect and preserve the Zappos culture. Prior to Zappos, Foley spent more than eight years in the staffing industry.

“Effective employer branding helps companies recruit candidates who are a fit for the organization and will make the best possible contribution. We look forward to Christa  sharing the secrets of Zappos’ branding success at Recruiting Trends Conference 2012,” says Anna Brekka, director of Recruiting Trends.
