World’s Top 50 Employers

Due to the globalization of the talent market, multinational companies are generally recognized as attractive employers since their brand is well known, they offer a broader range of career opportunities, and they are usually a safe choice for secure employment.

In a study of the world’s Top 50 most attractive employers by employer branding company, Universum, students at top academic institutions were asked to rate the best companies to work for. Google ranked as the world’s most attractive employer, followed closely by rival, Microsoft.

Top 10 Businesses include: Google; PricewaterhouseCoopers; Microsoft; Goldman Sachs; Ernst & Young; Procter & Gamble; J.P. Morgan; KPMG; McKinsey & Company; Deloitte.

Top 10 Engineering: Google; Microsoft; IBM; BMW; Intel; General Electric; Sony; Siemens; Shell; Procter & Gamble.

This is the first global index of employer attractiveness and highlights the world’s most powerful employer brands, those companies that excel in talent attraction and retention. The global rankings are based on the employer preferences of students from US, Japan, China, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Russia, Spain, Canada and India.
