AN RAMON, CA, July 20, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ — In the face of the mainstreaming of social media, companies have begun to explore the use of these channels as a way to access pools of talent. LinkedIn and Facebook alone have a combined estimated membership of more than 800 million users, and the social media wave doesn’t stop there: Twitter has moved to the forefront as a way to hold 140 character “conversations,” and Google+ is emerging as a player. SmartPost

NEW YORK CITY, NY— JUNE 23, 2011 — SmartPost, the innovative online job posting and sourcing product from Bernard Hodes Group, further extends its premiere position in jobs distribution and optimization by continuing to focus its e-media library expansion on markets where talent needs remain strong.

However, many healthcare organizations still struggle to find the “right” talent and experience to fill key openings. With so many individuals still unemployed, healthcare employers are looking for ways to maximize any job advertising they do in the most succinct way so not to inundate their recruiters with unqualified applicants—and who have the desired healthcare skillsets they need for mission critical job vacancies.

He is coauthor of the new book Corporate Governance Matters (FT Press).

“Boards have been put on the defensive when it comes to comp, but the problems that critics are offering solutions to aren’t that cut and dried,” explains Brian Tayan, Larcker’s coauthor and a researcher at Stanford GSB.
