Daniel Kaplan, Partner, CTPartners
Dan Kaplan is a Partner with CTPartners, a premier executive search firm committed to performance quality and results. Dan has successfully conducted over 300 assignments for leading private equity funds, and market leaders across nearly every sector. Dan is a leader in the Global Private Equity Practice and leads the firm’s Global Human Resources Practice. In addition, Dan manages a number of the firm’s largest global client relationships, handling C-suite searches while leveraging the global expertise of the partnership for the benefit of these clients. Dan is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee.
Dan has completed numerous high-profile assignments for Operating Partners, Senior Advisors, Chief Executive Officers, Heads of HR, and Chief Marketing Officers responsible for key growth and turn-around initiatives. He has also led special projects to identify leaders to access and lead prospective acquisitions. Frequently sought after for his insight into Private Equity Talent issues, Dan has contributed to several articles for leading private equity magazines and has served on and moderated some of the industries most important conference panels.
In 2008, Dan was named to BusinessWeek’s list of the World’s Most Influential Headhunters. In addition to his search leadership responsibilities, Dan represents the firm on the board of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), the professional practices group for the search industry.
Prior to joining CTPartners Dan was a senior partner at another major international search firm. In addition to a successful search career, Dan has shaped leading recruiting initiatives during his tenure as Director of Recruiting at Fannie Mae, a Fortune 20 company and as Recruiting Executive with Sapient Corporation, an S&P 500 business consultancy.
A graduate of Rutgers University, Dan has been active in fundraising for several non-profits including Alex’s Lemonade Stand, the United Way and the Manhattan Society. He is also a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Business Advisory Council. Dan is based in the firm’s New York headquarters. An avid runner, Dan is currently training for his first Marathon.
Michael Goldberg, Recruiting Manager, Freeman
Michael Goldberg has over 20-years-experience in Human Resources with the last nine years solely focused on recruiting.
Currently, Michael manages a staff of three recruiters and has been able to drive the recruiting function by dropping time-to-fill by over 50% and maintain a Hiring Manager satisfaction ratio of 95%. His previous industry experience includes Hospitality, Sales, IT, Medical and Consulting.
Michael has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from the University of Dallas. He resides in Dallas, Texas.
