Healthcare’s 2009 Best Places to Work

Modern Healthcare announces its second annual list of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare.

Approximately 317 healthcare companies participated in this year’s healthcare workplace listing, an increase of 34% over 2008. The rankings are published in a special supplement and will recognize the top places to work by industry segment and number of employees, in addition to profiling a number of recipients.

Partnering with Best Companies Group, a specialist in “best places to work” programs, Modern Healthcare recognizes outstanding employers in the healthcare industry on a national level ranging from economic development to employee retention.

“These healthcare employers demonstrate that building a culture in which employees are supported and engaged benefits not only patients and customers but the employers’ financial performance as well,” says Fawn Lopez, publisher of Modern Healthcare.
