Although social media provides a low-cost and potentially high-traffic opportunity that allows a company to share the experience and expound upon the benefits of employment at its organization, many companies are not taking advantage of it – in other words, not leveraging their Employer Brand.

Join Linda Brenner, Kimberly Nassau, and Jennifer McClure as they offer their Top Three Sourcing and Recruiting Tips for 2012 and show how Employer Branding brings “magic” to recruiting efforts.

In this fast-paced 60-minute webinar presentation they will share knowledge, expertise, and best practices in sourcing and recruiting top talent while explaining how you can leverage one of your most powerful tools – your Employer Brand.

The webinar will cover:

• What is an employment brand (You have an employment brand whether you’ve built it or not.)
• Tips: How to assess your employment brand (Glassdoor, Vault, auditing job postings, Google News, etc.)
• How to improve your employment brand

➢ with no budget
➢ with a small budget
➢ with a big budget

From Kennedy Information’s Employer Branding research: Branding Best Practice: Understanding Your Employer Brand

“Before a company can begin to cultivate and leverage its Employer Brand, it must understand that its Employer Brand already exists. It must identify its key components, both positive and negative – the name of the game is openness and transparency.”

There will be something for everyone. Don’t miss it!

There is a huge supply of conflicting information about social media and its utility in Recruiting. The Evangelists seem to line the streets insisting that the end is near and that you are a loser if you aren't an early adopter. The truth is a little slower. Social technology is entering the organization in the pockets of its employees. This is the first time in history that technology flowed from the bottom up.
We know recruiting former members of the military is a good thing to do, but the attitudes, expectations, stereotypes, and opportunities on both sides are often cloudy at best and sometimes…sometimes great employees and leadership prospects are overlooked.

With 500.000 or more transitioning soldiers seeking employment, recruiters cannot afford to ignore a ready-made applicant pool of top candidates eager to make a contribution. Yes, there are issues and challenges, but the same is true for nearly every group of candidates.

This webinar cuts through the BS to the hard core strategy and tactics as some of the most successful military recruiting leaders discuss their observations, initiatives, and…in a few cases, creative solutions.

David Lee,
Founder DAL Social Marketing,
Formerly Director Marketing, US Army

David is a retired Army Colonel and business improvement leader with experience in marketing, communications, and employment branding. After a career as an Artillery officer that included command of a 625 Soldier battalion, assignments with the Secretary of Defense and Army Chief of Staff, he was assigned as the Director of Marketing for the US Army. He assumed control of an over budget, underperforming program trying to promote the value of service during a time of war. In this role David took the Army in a new strategic direction turning Army Strong into an enterprise wide employment brand and introducing social media as a tool for communicating with their prospects. When he retired in September 2009 the program had a 59% improvement in cost per recruit, increased quality of leads and achieved or exceeded all other performance measures. The program also received over 20 industry awards during his tenure. Since retiring in September 2009 David shares his employment branding experience with companies of all sizes, members of Congress, and speaks at social media and recruiting conferences. David is also an advocate for improvements in education and veterans’ affairs. Details of his work with the Army can be found on his blog http://DavidALee.com

Measuring the return on investment (ROI) of recruitment advertising should be a major priority for any recruiting professional tasked with lowering cost per hire and identifying high-quality candidates.

Where are candidates and hires coming from, and what sources are providing the best ROI? These questions become critical when you consider two factors: most companies don’t know that there is a problem, and it’s those very companies that are spending billions of dollars per year on recruitment advertising.

This challenge can easily be conquered by asking the proper questions and putting the right measures in place to start tracking source more effectively.

Listen in as we cover The four A’s

Assign – Make it someone’s job to track and measure your recruitment advertising.

Automate – Implement automated candidate source tracking.

Analyze – Review your cost-per-applicant and cost-per-hire data.

Adjust – Shift budgets to the sources that deliver the best ROI for you. Measure everything and adjust your recruiting strategy accordingly.

Jason Whitman, will share why every company with a job posting on the web should know what it’s getting for its investment, and show how to maximize the return on investment (ROI) of your online recruitment advertising. Michael Blair will share his best practices and expertise on the successful and maybe not so successful online recruitment efforts and how he tracks ROI.

Take-aways – You will learn how candidate source tracking impacts your online recruitment activity, and how to optimize for success. Topics to be covered include:

Tracking and measuring online recruitment

Automating candidate source tracking with your Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or career site vendor

Understanding source of hire reports and using validated data to make continued improvements
