Bretz is a Senior
Recruiter and Sourcer with CDW, a leading provider of technology
products
and services for business, government and education.
Bretz
is responsible for Web
2.0 tools and resources and help choose which technologies, techniques
and
resources CDW should use for finding and attracting talent.
Charles is
charged with creating and managing the internet strategy as it relates
to
Talent Acquisition. He also creates and leads individual and
monthly
trainings on Web 2.0 technologies for the Talent Acquisition
team.
Charles utilizes numerous social networking sites including Twitter,
LinkedIn,
Facebook, Ning, Plaxo, Xing and Flickr.
Prior
to joining the company,
Bretz worked at Management Recruiters of O’Hare from 1996 to 2006 where
he
served as Internet Sourcer/Researcher from 2001-2006 and managed the
Accounting
and Finance recruiting practice from 1997 – 2001. Additionally,
he held
management leadership roles in retail management from 1991 – 1997.
Bretz
holds a Bachelor of
Science in Communicaitons from Northern Illinois University.
Bretz also
holds the CIR and ACIR certifications from AIRS.
