According to research conducted by SBR Consulting, the workforce has entered a “flight pattern,” with workers wanting to find new employment opportunities and the talent retention security (what the firm has dubbed the “no fly zone”) organizations felt in 2008, 2009 and 2010, where during the height of the recession workers were far more likely to stay at their current position, has ended. According to the survey, 70% of Millennials say there is a possibility they will change jobs once the economy improves, with 36% of respondents indicating they definitely will seek other opportunities. Thirty-eight (38) percent of Millennials say that if they left the company it would be because of the position or job they do, followed by 26% who indicate it would be the company itself, and 22% who say their boss would be the reason.
